online order incomplete

I ordered some dresses from Karen Millen online at end of march this year. Did not get round to opening ( yes I know silly in retrospect but never had an issue before & waiting for wardrobes to be built) until saturday as needed one of the dresses for a wedding. Inside the boxes were large KM carrier bags and 2 dresses in each bag - 4 dresses short in each box!!
Have spoken to Karen Millen who said all dresses were dispatched.
Is there absolutely nothing I can do?? have told KM that am sending photos of the small boxes with carriers etc inside to show that in no way could 6 dresses have been inside each bag, but just wondered if anyone else had any sensible ideas

yes you should have checked on arrival, but i assume their would be a dispatch/packing note with the goods, what does that state

yes there is a despatch note in each box which are exactly the same - saying 12 dresses in each box

Is there any indication of weight on the boxes?

Thats what I thought - but sent by hermes and no weight on box. The only chance I have is that now I know there are carriers inside the box as well, there is no way they could have got 6 dresses in each bag & then inside each box.
The despatch note states only 2 parcels sent as well
