If you have a current email from the sender you could do a sweep and ask it to block future emails.

    Other than that:

[*]Type the undesired email address under Blocked e-mail address or domain:.

My email is blueyonder but i presume hotmail will be the same, if i get something that i struggle to unsubscribe from i generally click the Spam button and hope my provider will block it.

Thank you, it's tough to unsubscribe a former friend. But I must be strong!
I'd rather be able to block them completely because I dont want to see them in Junk ,thats just a reminder.

You can block email address's in your Hotmail account.

Go to your Inbox. Click on 'options' (right hand side) - 'More Options' - 'Safe and blocked senders' - 'Blocked senders' then type in the email address and click 'Add to list'.
