I've recently signed up with Direct Line, £89 for a worldwide insurance for 4 people.. Also got £17.50 tracked on quidco, making it £71.50 for a year.
You will really see how good the insurance company is when you claim, something I havent had to do with Direct Line yet, so I dont know how good they are..
I had to make a claim with Nationwide once and they were brilliant, paid out, no questions asked.0 -
Have you tried moneysupermarket.com?0

I'm with https://www.insurefor.com which seemed to be the cheapest at the time...
Worldwide cover (inc. US & Canada) with Winter Sports Cover is £46.79.0 -
Try Atlas Direct 020 7609 5000 I have asthma and we only paid £66.41 for a couple.0

I have been with insureandgo.com for the past year and have just renewed with a 10% discount.
This includes worldwide (inc. USA) and winter sports
insurefor.com admitted that they couldn't get anywhere near their premium, even without the discount!
Without the discount their current prices (per person) are:
Bronze = £32-51................doesn't cover personal effects and baggage
Silver = £42-50.............covers personal effects & baggage + winter sports
Gold = £49-50............ -do-
Platinum = £55-00.......... -do-
Black = £65-00........... -do-
Their web site compares all the above for an easy check on the benefits. I have not had to make a claim but have beeen happy with the service I received and the website.
There do however, seem to be cheaper quotes judging by the replies above.0
