Praise for letting agents - well one, Crixtal!

Following on from a thread with ridiculous letting agents and a threat of legal action I thought I would offer some praise for one in particular.
Before buying my home in Manchester I rented a few places and came into contact with a few different letting agencies, both large and small and had varying issues.

- Isaac Anthony lettings. A good small (at the time) letting agents that were quite accomodating with leaving dates etc. Didnt let us know that a new development was about to be built in front of ours, but as letting agents rather than landlord perhaps no surprise. No issues with property that needed attention here so cannot comment on that.
- Dandara. Big problems on leaving with ridiculous charges for non existant issues e.g a girly duvet cover (that i would never use and stored away safely) with apparent stains on. Items on final inventory that were not on first. I had to dispute all these. To top it off, the final total for money owed was added up wrong. My brother moved into a property of theirs and had even worse issues with them, such as light fittings blowing and trying to charge my brother for them. Then the usual non-existant fees after check out.
- Kings residential. I was a bit nervous about going to another large organization following dandara. didnt have a second set of keys available when they said they would. No great harm, more an inconvienience, but the customer service wasnt great in rectifying it.
I got friendly with the landlord so most issues with the apartment went directly through them, although Kings were very quick in dealing with a small fire in the storeroom!
Kings use an independent firm to do their check outs. Apparently this is so there can be no disputes. Quite how independent these are when trying to keep Kings using them im not sure, but we were ok, although i had to argue a 'professional clean' charge. luckily the first inventory backed me up that the place was a mess when we moved in.
- [FONT="]Crixtal Properties. This company was very small, one man i think, but they did have a fair few properties. Excellent communication, and checks through the tenancy, not just to check if the place was ok, but if we had any ideas on improvement etc. Got to know the landlord who had nothing but good words about the company also. My brother recently went through them for a property and has been equally as happy.

Most compainies will get negative and positive comments like you say. I think it is in our nature to complain, so I think it is important that good practice is highlighted too, hence the thread.
There have been a few companies listed on this thread as providing poor service, so I think that IF people have had good service from them should highlight it so people can make a balanced decision............0 -

If any of the other companies complained to the site, and any other posts deleted, - the top post could look quite confusing!
I have stated that to be fair, positive comments should be posted about poor letting agents, yet this is still not good enough to have an offending name removed??0
