    TBH if you are employed, and they have given you a reference which doesnt mention absence...why would you..? Obviously if you are asked you need to disclose sickness absence, but many do not ever ask

    Secondly, you can leave for whatever reason you want, it doesnt negate your overall employability.

    Left to go travelling, pursued studying, home life,....there are a million reasons which would not be questioned.

    And I speak as one who has done this both under a compromise agreement and later voluntarily left work and got employment within one day. Happy to PM if you want to.
