Simple Problem for more than SIX MONTHS - Halifax CANNOT solve

If it is a simple problem why not go into a branch and just do the job yourself?
It sounds like system issues with their current changeover with Lloyds.
They've had to make changes to their online banking which unfortunately means at the moment their paper free service has been withdrawn, does not mean it will not return though.
Banks are required under FSA regulations to send statements on accounts - either paper or electronic.
They will send you statements of any impending charges eg overdraft usage. Again a requirement.
If you don't want them, just shred them when you get them, at least you are getting statements, there is another post on here were someone is complaining that they are only getting statements quarterly rather than monthly.
I have been in to Branch, they can't do anything they just refer me to the online helpdesk.
The paper free system has NOT been withdrawn?!! My family are all with halifax and recieve paper free. When I log in to my online banking I can opt to recieve paper free documents.
I don't have any overdraft charges, I have a student overdraft which is interest free with no charges. I am recieving statements for my cash card account in which it is impossible to go overdrawn.
I dont want to have shred all my documents... shredding doesnt guarantee prevention against fraud. I have often recieved letters which have been partially opened or often letters don't turn up therefore I do worry about fraud. I know this is an issue with the Royal Mail, however it just seemed the best way to put my mind at ease is to NOT recieve statements in the post. I am reciveing three statements every month, one for each of my accounts and I am having to find space to file them away because I dont want to throw them out!!
Halifax DOES offer paper free.0
