scottish and southern economy 10
In April 2011 I moved into a new build house and was informed that the energy provider was Scottish and southern and that I was on an economy 10 tariff.
I noticed that the clock on the meter was at the wrong time and after speaking to some neighbours discovered that their metres were also at the wrong time meaning that when we thought it was cheap time it actually was still the expensive rate.
I contacted Scottish and Southern and was advised that this was "tough luck" and that not only would I have to work my cheap rates around the meter time and not the actual time that it would change again every time the clocks change and that it would be too much hassle for the company to come out and alter my meter to the correct time!
Strangely enough I was not impressed and contacted a company called changeworks who have acted as a third party - free of charge - and arranged for Scottish and southern to come round and give me a new meter.
As they are replacing the meter, and, due to their horrendous customer service, I am wondering, is there a better tariff for an all electric 4 bedroom house and if so what is it?

I may be mistaken but I don`t think economy 10 meter is supportable by the other companies. If it is `Total Heating Total Control` then that is definitely a tariff that only SSE can support.:money:0
