I got a notification that this is now coming to an end, pity it was a nice little discount. I suppose its going in order to finance all the free listing days.:mad::mad:

Never got a great deal out of the free points vouchers, but hey it was something for nothing at the end of the day. Shame they are discontinuing it.

I expect all the FVF's for items listed during the free listing days makes up for no listing fees.

assuming they all sell of course, most free listing days just mean folks pressing re-list on all the crap that didn't sell the last time.

They say that now the trial as ended and after feedback from users - they are ending the scheme.

Yeah rite, cos i'm sure the users told them "hey mr ebay - please stop giving us these freebies - cos we don't like it".

I don't know anyone else who was in the trial, and i enjoyed boasting about my free points. Added to the money back from Quidco, it soon added up.

I currently have £30 in points so far this month (had a few bigger purchases )- so i'm looking forward to my voucher in July. Will miss it, but will defo spend less - so its not all bad.

i lOVED the plus points, and am gutted they are ending it too. I have managed to amass a nice lil voucher for my last one, as have been buying from my account with the plus points only. I had a £25 voucher last time, and my final one will be £just short of £30. Really dissapointed they are ending it.
Agree with techspec...no way feedback from customers has ended the scheme, at the end of the day, who would complain about free money?

I'm really going to show my ignorance here, I've only been an ebayer for 9 years (so just a newbie :rotfl:) and I've never heard of plus points. Might I have some? I'm a business seller, is it something just for private sellers/ buyers?

It was an invite-only scheme that was running for about a year as a trial. I had it on my posting ID but I didn't rack up a huge amount. I think I'll get a 16p voucher in July...

    Shame it's ending, though.

I would love to know what the "feedback from users" was!

I have saved about £30 or so over the year with ebay plus, so I shall miss it.
