Notification in London Gazette

Hi. I am wondering if anyone knows the cost and procedure for entering a notification of death in the London Gazette for Creditors purposes, when someone dies. Also is it sensible to put one in a local paper too. How do you word it etc. How long does it need to be in the paper and so on. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I do know that the notices have to be in there for 2 months, but sorry, don't know any more details.
Edit: I found this online for you http://www.london-gazette.co.uk/place-notice/personal-legal/deceased-estates0 -
Why don't you try asking them?0

Thanks, I did try asking them but couldn't get through and with everything else that we're having to do, it was easier to leave the question here.
Thanks Caroline, that's really helpful.
I've just looked up your link and it's really good it's even shown how you can do a cheaper webform Notice, so thanks for that. I probably could have found it but you know what it's like when someone passes away, simple things can suddenly be very difficult. So thankyou.0
