Halifax statements keep changing to quarterly?!

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this same problem?

I previously received monthly statements for my Halifax Reward Current Account at the end of every month.

After not receiving anything for two months, I called Halifax who told me they'd been changed to quarterly. The lady corrected this back to monthly.

Again, last month, I didn't receive a statement. I've been told again that this is because the setting has changed to quarterly.

Seems odd that this keeps happening every few months. Is there any reasonable explanation?

I now use my Reward account as my main current account, so its not like there aren't many transactions these days.

    There are other post about HBOS statement problems, it's probably to do with merging the computer systems between HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group,
