I wouldn't delete anything yet, if you have space.. you might not be able to get them off the half finished DVD again.

You could create a new directory, and copy them from the DVD to that directory and work from there.

What version of Nero are you using?

This might be of use, but the trial version watermarks the video, but at least it might help diagnose the issue.. (when you import the vob, it tells you if there is a soundtrack)

Hi Albertross - yes sorry me back again. Sorry I had to go to bed last night I've not been to bed before 2am trying to get somewhere with this darn thing. SO I'm not having a late night again

Looks like its Nero 6. Question. If it played in the software link which you sent me, Media Classic I think it was called. And it playued all ok with sound. Do you think that it could be a problem with a Nero plug in thing. I was having a read up and google "no sound in DVD recordings" and it seemed to bring these things up.

So I thought of trying to burn it with DVD Fab (which I also have) but it dosen't let you select files on the hard drive just DVD drives.

Do you think I should just give up? Is there a way I can burn the media classic one.

Haven't come across the nero plugin issue, so I'm not sure.. maybe someone else will come along and advise.

mpc is just a player, not designed to author/burn DVD's.

Hi, Just download that ConvertX thing and it's busy doing something which seems to be taking yonks. I think it's encoding. I have read what it says in the box as it's doing it stuff and it says that audio is ac3 so it has defo got audio. Does this burn too then.

I think so , but the demo version leaves a watermark..
