Nintendo Wii

Options
Hi

I like most of the uk have been searching for a nintendo wii.
I am outraged at the extortinate prices people are selling this for on ebay.
It gladdened my heart somewhat to see that some users of ebay were actually challenging some of the sellers about this hurrah!!!
as I refuse to be ripped off. I have told my liitle boy that sometimes Santa; but only if he thinks your very grown up leaves you some money and a picture of the present he wants you to buy!
has worked a treat.

Unfortunately its a case of supply and demand, blame Nintendo for not supplying the demand.

I agree with you about not paying over the odds, but money is no object to some people and why shouldn't people be allowed to take advantage of the fact that some people will pay through the nose?.
  • Santa should have pre-ordered ;-)

Santa has been made to sit on naughty step ! have been let down by pre order.
I think the essence of this though is that we cant always give our children what they want but there are ways around it which dont haveto hit us big style in the pocket.
Apologies if in wrong thread very new at this.
  • i say that,but people are depressed about wii:money:

  • If you're depressed about Wii - then think about this. Since the console launched, various stores have been posting their special offers. HMV has the Wii, plus three games and a memory card for £275. If you can get a student in with you when you buy the console, that means you can get it all for £247.50. If the console plus Wii sports is £180, it means that you can get three games plus a memory card for less than £70. As £70 is the price of two games on the Internet, it might be worth waiting until WarioWare:Smooth Moves and Super Mario Galaxy are released early next year, rather than having to settle for Zelda: Twilight Princess and rubbish third party games.

That's what I plan to do anyway.

  • did you know ... the nintendo wii is the fastest selling console in history ... largely becuase nintendo put out more units on launch than any other console on its launch.

during the 2002 world cup i lashed out c.£400 on an xbox and 4 games ... now i see you get an xbox and 4 games for £50

i wonder what the nintedo wii will cost in 2010

i've got a wii and thoroughly recommend it. i saw an early vid and i was pre ordering from the first opportunity ... but at ebay prices ... i don't think so ...

Come on, it's all a bit of a game really. We're happy enough to take advantage of "flog-offs" when stores over-stock. If you really really really must need and have one and can't possibly wait a month or so (WHAT A WHOLE MONTH OR SO!!!!!), afraid you're going to have to take the non-MSE route...
  • for those still looking for one and prepared to pay over the odds I suggest you do not watch the video on the link below......for anyone else it shows what money can buy and how it can be wasted
