Help with wedding flowers

Im wondering if anyone can help, I have decided to my own wedding bouquet bridesmaid bouquet and button holes. My question is does anyone know where there is a guide to how much I would need to buy? I can count the flowers in some of the bouquets i like so can guess these, what about tape and pins and filler flowers etc, etc,

Would love some pics if anyone has done this too. I quite fancy foam roses in ivory with something extra to make them stand out, maybe pearls or diamantes on gold wire. My theme is gold, mink (like milk chocolatey colour I think) and ivory. Even some nice dark leaves. I have a picture in my head, but that doesnt help much does it?:rotfl:

Found a guid on here but it was fresh flowers which would be treat differently and google not playing lol

have a look at video on how to do this they often give guidence on how many stems you'll need allow a couple extra in case you do what I've do in the past and cut to much off the stem! make sure you use the right oasis if using it and soak it well if using fresh flowers. generally the green oasis is for fresh flower the brown one for silk.

I think the principles the same no matter if your using fake or real flowers. if there's a flower market near you they might be able to advise further and you might be able to pick up the stuff cheaply

Not sure this helps cause they aren't roses, but I've used 9 burgundy and 8 white artificial gerberas in this bouquet:

Each flower is approximately 4 inches. (Please note this was a rough mock up!)

I actually found it easier to make the domed posy upside down - with the flowers facing the floor - made it easier for me to get all the bases of the flowers level.
