Ticketmaster changing seats for Take That concert

I saw Take That at Sunderland on 31st May. I bought my top price seated tickets from ticketmaster in October 2010 when they were released. I selected standard delivery but they were never received.
Ticketmaster reprinted the tickets for collection at the box office before the gig. It was absolute chaos when I went to collect them, ticketmaster collections had a huge queue!! I had to wait nearly 45 minutes to get my tickets & missed the start of the concert - my own fault for not going earlier I know but I didn't think it would be that busy.
I turned up with my booking reference & credit card which I used to pay as instructed by their call centre. The ticketmaster rep couldn't find my tickets which I should have been collecting so said he would upgrade us to better seats as they were more central. He didnt even check my credit card, just gave him my surname & hand written refernce number. No time to question so I just accepted as I dont know the ground layout.
When I got to my seats I thought it was a it strange that I was in the corner of the ground & not the middle, but Take That were already on stage so I stayed put to watch the concert.
Since the gig I checked the ground lay out & have found that these 'new' tickets were in fact worse than the ones I should have had ( no where near as central as they should have been & a few rows further back). Do I have any claim against ticketmaster? I paid £160 for these on a credit card which is a lot of money, especially when it's not the seats I booked!
I've tried complaining to ticketmaster but unsurprisingly have heard nothing back.

Were the tickets that you were eventually allocated in the same price band?Gone ... or have I?0

Yep, they were.0

Unless they were substantially different, I think you'll struggle. Had you rejected them and therefore not gone to the concert you may have had grounds for a refund.Gone ... or have I?0

Don't think you'll have much luck really, maybe you would have had a better chance if you'd got there early as more seats would have been available ? We went to Manchester on Saturday to see them, we got there for 5pm, the show started at 8, we were in the unreserved seating area and had the pick of the seats or we could have stood if we wanted to.
Hope you enjoyed it in the end, we thought it was fantastic !:)0 -
Yeah, we thoroughly enjoyed it!! Just a shame the ticketmaster shambles is always going to be one of the things we remember!0
