I'm sure I speak for plenty of MSEers when I say that I've been a fan of More Magazine for a long, long time & have added comments many times before as I do with all the other facebook pages I'm a fan of & I'm sure lots of other members do the same & whenever I'm lucky enough to win a prize I always make a point of thanking whoever ran the competition & if I see a post saying who's won I always congratulate that person even if I don't know them. We here at MSE are always happy for others when they win as you will see if you read any of the posts in I won, I won, I won

Hmm, I wasn't implying that everyone at MSE is just in it for the prizes, I was just saying it would be nice to hear from some new people who may not have been fans of more! before. There seems to be an 'us' and 'them' mentality going on, and that's a bit silly because, like you, I have been a member of both for a while, and I'm happy for anyone who wins :T

I'm more of a reader on facebook than a poster, I'm the same here to be fair. Even though I don't openly chat I do visit more on facebook quite regularly as well as many other pages.

if the comp is drawn on a fairs fair thing IE all emails in a hat and one pulled out then would it matter if we posted on the more facebook as the random email generator wont know when it pulls a email out if that person posts on the more facebook

Oh you won the ring didn't you? Congrats, that thing is so pretty. There are just some people on more's fb page who think that if they don't recognise the winner's name then they don't deserve the prize. I don't see the logic in that myself, it doesn't make you any less a fan just because you read more than you post

Yeah I'm guessing that's how they're doing it and that's more than fair, but you can't please everyone can you? Some people on the more! fb page act like they own the place and because they're on there all day everyday that somehow makes them more deserving :mad:
