Interior doors?

Are interior doors really so expensive. We've recently put new flooring down in the hall in our home and would like new doors to match, the colour is "honey oak" and I've looked around your usual B&Q etc as well as online stores and the cheapest is £140 a door so we need 6, so thats £840!! For doors! Is this just the going rate that i have to accept? Or are there cheaper places?

Thanks for you help,
Adam

have a look round on the web to get an idea of prices etc, then you can ask your local joiner to quote you for the doors.

Wickes were great when I had to replace a couple of interior doors, I think they were around £40 each which is for half glazed doors with some frosting on the glass, They were delivered for £12 and had sticky something over the glass so you could just paint them without getting any on the glass, and peel the sticky off after!

Wickes doors are good value , but check your sizes carefully , there is not much scope for any trimming down . Have a look at the packaging and it gives the max. amounts.
