Account Details Changed - Eon

Im just looking for a little advice with my Eon Account

On friday i received a email from eon requesting my meter readings, i was quite puzzled as on the 20th April 2011 i gave them my readings as usual and paid the bill and wasnt expecting another bill for 3months as i pay my bill quarterly.

So i checked my online account and i was shocked to see all my details had changed

Product name: *Eon EnergyPlan*

This should be Economy 7 which it has been for 4years of being with them.

Statement Frequency - *Monthy*

This should be *Quarterly* again, as it has been for 4years.


I have no idea why all these have been changed, i didnt request any of it as im quite happy with what i had, i tried calling eon about it but there systems are down atm, so can i ask why this has happened because i really dont want a bill in the next cpl days from the last month.

    I know we have had a few issues with the system today, sorry about this.

    Changing a tariff or payment method can change the billing frequency.

    You say you were on an economy 7 tariff, many tariff's offer economy 7 do you know the name of the tariff that you were on?

    Im really sorry i just dont know that information, how could i find out ? all i know is it said Economy 7
    And i havent changed the tariff or payment method it's been the same since i moved in to this property 4years ago, so not sure why its changed to monthly.

    And i wil send my account info for you to have alook at.

    Thanks for the reply back, before your information i did find the tarrif online as you said, so im happy with that, but can you explain to me why it was changed to monthly, and why i have to pay for the month gone ? even tho i didnt request any change.
    As i said i really was expecting a bill at the end of July/start of august.

    But im truley greatful of your help, made my day a happier one.

    Just want to say ty to Helena for all the help, everything is back to normal. just have to pay for the 6weeks and im all good for another 3months.
    Its funny after 10years online i never new of this site and how quick problems can get sorted. ty again.
