Repeat Balance Transfer Offers - Any out there ?

I have a couple of 0% offers expiring and wandered if anyone has had any recent offers for existing customers or better ones than I have been offered before I ring them and try and get some.

Tesco (on life of balance - no offers for ages)
Santander (letter offering 0% till Feb 3% fee received)
Virgin (Not had any repeat offers for ages)
Creation (Just coming to end of 0% - never had any offers)
Halifax (have 5.94% life of balance offer on paper statement but not online ?)

I suspect I may not look such a good customer now as I have a large number of cards and credit limits although I have never missed a payment, Egg have just told me they are not renewing my card when it expires but not sure if this is because I have a Barclsycard or if they just dont want me :(

Many thanks

Have you seen this thread Unoffical Existing Customer Balance Transfers People tend to post offers on there - there have been some recent posts about halifax on there. Virgin usually do offers if you have a nil balance with them (or have had for a couple of months) - typically a new 12month 0% deal.

Thanks, I have been looking at that thread but there does not seem to be any mention of anything from Tesco or Creation and it does seem to be a thread that is not highly used so have tried the main board in case others are not aware of that thread.

I agree it doesn't seem to have been used much recently - I did wonder if its because there are less offers around - just wasn't sure if you'd seen it or not :)

Is virgin card empty ? You could apply for another mbna card,if no straight away acceptance then call them 3 days later and then let them suggest to you that to open new card will mean closing virgin one (which you are of course planning to do !).worked for me.
I have a deep burning indifference

Virgin is all but empty as I paid off most of the balance about 3 months ago, it will be completely empty in a couple of days.
I will try the cancel phone call but as I think I may not look a good customer due to overall credit I dont really want to cancel the card as it has a very healthy credit limit and I may not get such a good new customber offer

Have given up on the main MBNA card as I have been declined 3 times over the years despite managing to get most other cards no problem, must be something they dont like about me !!

It's worth ringing up your card issuers and asking about transfer deals - you don't have to wait for them to offer them to you.

I use Mint, Lloyds and MBNA - and they have always responded to a 0% BT request even if I've not heard from them for some time.

Checked my Virgin account and have offer of bt until June 2012 or
pay into my bank account and the same expiry period.

Also have a fee of 3% or 4% to bank account.

Barclaycard have just advised me I can have a bt for 18 months and the usual 3% fee.

Been a customer for a long time and always get good repeat offers.

PS. Tesco never give me promo rates.

Offers do seem to vary from lender to lender.

Anything I ever owe on cards is at 0%, so I treat all the providers the same.

At the moment I'm only interested in purchase offers as I have no balances to transfers.

Virgin always give me offers, normally a couple at a time. Have the 0% until the end of June at the moment (fee applies) and also 0% purchase offers.

Natwest offer me BT offers generally. The last one for 12 months, the longest ever from them. (fee applies)

Halifax have offered me 2 since Feb, both 9 months at 0% (fee applies)

Egg haven't offered any in years to me. Use to get them upto about 2 years ago, but never for more than 6 month periods.

Tesco have never ever done a repeat offers, not even for 3 months, since I cleared the 0% purchases offer, September last year.

Thanks to all who responded, clearly its a varied science as people seem to get very different offers, for info after a few phone calls on my own situation

Tesco - No offers - not had any for years
    Santander - 9 months 0%, regular 0% offers
Virgin - No offers, used to be loads, none for 6 months or so
Creation - 9 months 0% 3% fee, first time I have asked or seen any
Halifax - No offers, used to be regular but I am near the credit limit now

worth a call as Creation have made no mention of any offers online or on the statements, others just promise that there are regular offers but I have not seen them for a while.
