What's the difference between Visa & Mastercard?
I currently have a Mastercard with Halifax and have been looking around for a back up card as per a previous thread. I'm still looking and was consdering getting a Visa credit card rather than a Mastercard one.
I've noticed that very few banks offer a Visa one for some reason or other. Any ideas as to why? Where is the best place to go for a Visa card apart from Barclaycard who seem to be one of the few offering them?

The Credit Card Provider decides this on the basis of how much they will get in commission for each card transaction you complete.
