Vaillant turbomax boiler
Hi - I moved into a newish flat several months ago. I got the 14 year old boiler serviced, & the young engineer failed the appliance because of the flue termination layout. The pipe comes out the top of the boiler curves to the right, straight down again & then right again out of the flat to a flue outlet (a bit like a straighter u bend).
I can guess what has happened, this is a top floor flat, & they didn't leave enough room to layout the outlet at a straight angle. If they did this the outlet would go into a balcony off the roof.
The boiler works fine, I have a carbon monoxide alarm next to it & good ventilation.
Should I be worried, does anyone have any ideas how I could rectify the situation?
Thanks
