combine postage - would this annoy you?

I bought two items from one seller, stated on listing would combine postage.

After auction end I sent a total request to seller, got an invoice back with both postage costs still place, so i emailed and asked for combined postage as per listing.

Got a reply from seller saying sorry but items had been packaged separably so would need to be sent as two packages and I would need to pay both postage costs.

fri morning postie comes and delivers 1 package with both items in costing less than the postage cost for one item and sent in a standard a4 white envolope.

I emailed the seller saying disappointed that they sent them together etc fri and have had no reply, the seller has been on ebay as left others feedback and re listed some items.

Would you leave poor feedback for this as the seller was dishonest and hasnt replied to communication?

I had a seller say this to me I told then to tape the two items together.

I would reflect this is feedback and stars for the lie alone, did they think you wouldn't notice that the two items packaged seperately actually arrived together in one parcel?

I don't mind mistakes, but I HATE sellers who lie!

I'd give him low stars for communication (lying) and postage costs (overcharging), then would contemplate leaving a neutral rather than a positive, although would give them a few days to reply to the message, hopefully with a refund of excess postage...

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
