Holidays up for auction - bargains + proceeds to charity

Came across an article in the Daily Mail about holidays up for auction where your money goes to cancer research. looks like there's some bargains available and all in aid of a good cause.

I think THIS is what OP means. But I can't see them being particularly cheap as the article suggests "get your mouse at the ready and be prepared for an eBay-style bidding war."!!!

Hi Poly1, yes that's the article. Thanks, this is all a bit new fangled for me! Just had a look at the auctions and looks like there's a Bahamas holiday at the mo and it's only £30 and there's a bit of a flash Spanish place that's less than half price at the mo too. I'm going to keep an eye out - not booked our summer hols yet!

I won a holiday on this auction. Afted the auction ended the owner of the property I'd bid on emailed to say there would be a 1000 euro damages deposit and a 90 euro cleaning charge as well. Shocked me just a wee bit as this wasn't mentioned in the property info!!! Thankfully I managed to get my money back as they'd breeched the T&C's. But do be careful to read the property descriptions before bidding!
