Have bought a new shower today, can we install it ourselves or should we get an electrician to do it?

If this is a straight swap you may be OK from a building regs point of view. Though you should satisfy yourself that the new installation will be safe. In particular, check that your fuse/mcb and cable ratings are correct.
If this is a new installation, or an upgrade then you will need to either contact you LABC dept or get in a part p registered electrician to do it.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0
