I really want/need one, but can only afford a cheapy, any recommendations? Which is best, a condenser or a vented one? I know the vented ones are cheaper but what if I cant get the hose out of a window? And do those condenser kits that turn vented dryers into condenser dryers actually work?(have seen them on ebay) AND some say theyre "reverse action" whats that mean?
Thank you thank you, didnt realise I had so many questions!

The Bosch WTA4007 is recommended by Which and retails for around £200. It's the cheapest decent vented one I could find. Works a lot better than the White Knight we had before.0

I have a very small cheapy one which i bought 10 years ago for about £100.00 and it is still going strong. (it will probably break now i have said that). Not bad as I have have had 3 washing machines in that timenow mum of 4!!!0

I found Creda quite reliable when I had one. I have a Bosch now (purely because it was cheaper to buy that plus the WM together as a set), but would have bought another Creda quite happily.
Vented one is better, if you have somewhere to vent it through. It's better to have a proper vent put through the wall rather than sticking it out the window (bit chilly, and the window tends to fog up). If not, go for a condenser dryer, but they are a lot more expensive. Those condenser kits don't work well.
Have a look on Kelkoo (https://www.kelkoo.co.uk) to find the cheapest outlet, and would probably be worth waiting for the sales if you're not really desperate for one.0 -
Makro sell Hotpoint machines, not condensing, for £100 + VAT.0
