Selling Old Magazines

I have over 600 old magazines which I am looking to sell, the majority of these are either wrestling or mens(Maxim, FHM etc). Any advice on selling these on Ebay would be appreciated or if there are any other sites I can sell these on.

I would do a search on ebay of the relevent magazines to see how much they are fetching and therefore if they are worth listing.
The p&p charges will be quite high on these so it may be worth selling them as a bundle or collection only.0 -
Magazines are not usually worth listing unless they are either collectable or a niche market. I have sold, and still ocassionlly sell sci fi magazines but only on cheap listing days as for every 10 I list I'll probably only sell 1 or 2 and then for starting bid of 99p.
FHM or Maxim are throw away magazines so unlikely to even be worth wasting a listing fee on. However, do check the 'star' in them as some become collectable purely because of who they get to pose in their scanties. Wrestling is way out of my field so can't comment but rose _sparks is right, check the completed listings on ebay before you decide.

Also bear in mind the possibility of selling them in bulk - for example, "all the FHMs of 2002", if you've an entire year without any missing. Although they'd be heavy and expensive to post.
I've occasionally considered buying the entire back catalogue of Evo magazine [about cars], but have been put off by the fact there's 100 issues and most auctions that sell that many are 'local pick up' only, limiting potential buyers.0 -
Remember that with Pricing In Proportion, it's actually cheaper to sell them in 1s than 2s. A single magazine of that type will normally be under 500g, so 1st class postage would be 90p, or 75p for 2nd class, which is bit cheaper than under the old postage system.
If you're selling them in large quantities though, it will get cheaper if you send them by Standard Parcels, e.g. a box of 3 years' worth of a particular title (36 issues) would be between 10-20kg so would cost £12.46 to post, which is around 34p per magazine.
Most modern FHM or Maxim will attract little interest, but some with particular celebrities early in their careers may be more collectable.
If you're left with unsold magazines, you could try offering them on Freecycle, or if you've got loads of storage space (e.g. a big loft) put them away for a very long time until they acquire collectable status!0 -
It's worth keeping an eye on the want it now section on Ebay, people post there when they want a back issue - I know I have a few times.
Someone is currently after the first 80 copies of FHM http://wantitnow.ebay.co.uk/FHM-magazines_W0QQadidZ270055942684

If you do sell a load together, you could send them using 'payperdrop' Search that on ebay and you get 31kg Next Day Del for only £5.99.0
