Payment Pending

I listed two items that ended on Friday and received payment via paypal for one of the items straight away.

I have sold a few items on ebay over the years but this time the payment just says payment pending, click to claim. I click claim but it won't let me log into my paypal, only set up a new paypal.

I have checked the settings and my paypal account is linked to ebay.

I sold items last week and didn't have this problem.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Have you looked in your paypal account to see if it's there? If it needs claiming is the email address correct?

Is it at their end and they are new to PP and not verified the account yet? Only I had that once, a long time ago though

As hermum says, it sounds as if your email is wrong. An easy way to see, is the click relist on the auction and as you go into edit mode, scroll down to where it says payment details......you can see the email address in there. If it's wrong, the easiest way, is to add the wrong one to your paypal account.

If it's correct on the listing then your preferences may have overridden it. Check all your address details.

AS above, you have typed your email address for paypal incorrectly when you listed the auction. You need to either add the email address to your paypal or grovel to buyer get them to reclaim thier payment and then send an invoice to them direct from paypal for payment.
