Farm camp sites - Normandy Coast?

Hi
We are two families looking to cut back on the miles this summer and so were thinking of the Northern French Coast. We are going in August and have booked and paid for crossings. We are pretty self contained ( camper and caravan), so only need water and Elsan point. Wondered if anybody had any recommendations?
Thank you :A

I think the best way is to go to a small municipal site, don't know any in the area you want but there are plenty of cheap ones down here, Deux Sevres. Often just an area with a basic toilet block. There are also free areas for campervans to overnight, I don't think you can use them for caravans though.0

We've been in the area a few times, most sites we've been on have been larger commercial sites.
I don't think there are that many basic sites there, but the municipal sites are good value for money, although it's best to get there early.0 -
Here is a good review of a typical municipal site http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Review-g1080548-d1453671-Reviews-Camping_La_Pinede-Etaples_Nord_Pas_de_Calais.html Trouble is they are often only found by driving round and asking.0
