Just thought I'd see if others have had anything similar...
Cancelled both Experian and Equifax free trial last week and now have emails highlighting changes to my file...
We've detected changes to your credit report that you should check. If you weren't responsible for this change, it could be a possible indicator of identity fraud....
What to do next.... it says log in to see what the change to your report is?
The addition or deletion of an account.
A change in the payment history of a credit account eg a missed payment.
The addition or deletion of a judgement, voluntary arrangement or bankruptcy.
A search of your credit report.
Is this the usual letter they send to scare you back to subscribe???

I dont know if its usual but it happened to me too. Got £2.00 report and nothing different to be seen after the nice emails from bothCan I find out my credit score? You do not have a single credit score or rating. Different organisations take different information into account when working out your credit score and may have different scores for different products. (Kindly from Experian)0

It doesn't necessarily mean anything bad.
It might be a search has expired after 12 months and has been deleted.
There are changes going on all the time and the chances are it's perfectly ok.
You could check if you want, but cheapest way is to simply get a £2 statutory report (on-line from Equifax).0 -
If you did a search yourself on your credit file before you cancelled the subscription, then it could be that. I got the same e-mail from Equifax every time i looked at my file, sometimes a day or 2 after i had looked at itDebt free and staying that way! :beer:0

It's a sales tactic that persuades you to sign up for their services. If you are worried about it you could get the £2 report and see what they see, albeit with less big colourful numbers and warnings.0
