Here in Fife, we had summer in April. I think we're into Autumn now, but with winter winds.
I do know where summer is, though, we were in York on Thursday and it was 25 degrees. Even keeping in the shade, I got burnt as I'm so unused to sun.0 -
Yes, for the second year now summer was April. It is now like Autumn in the West of Scotland with many trees shedding their leaves due to the high winds & stormy weather.
Our annual holiday in Arran has been very wet for the last 3 years, but we do not holiday in Scotland for the sunshine.

I think we may have had ours in Argyll this afternoon... Obviously not a whole day, but an afternoon of sunshine after a month of rain must surely count ...
Was driving me mad that everyone in England is complaining of drout... I was thinking, we should all get together up here, pool our hosepipes and offer the English a pipeline, provided they buy the hoselock connectorsI will pay jexygirl the compliment of saying that she invariably writes a lot of sense!0 -
I dont think that it is everyone in England -my parents live in the south west and there is no drout thereTreat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.0
