Is my pillowcase making my wrinkles worse?

Might sound like a daft question I know but I'm sure I read somewhere that silk pillowcases are better for the skin that cotton. I have always used cotton and to be honest never been bothered before, but as the years creep by and I'm starting to get wrinkles I've noticed they seem more prominent on my left side than my right :rotfl:this is the side I lie on mostly. So would it be worth investing in silk rather than keeping on using the cotton ones and having one side of my face more wrinkly than the other :) any thoughts?

I try to sleep on my back for this reason!

This also helps prevent the chest wrinkles too............have you started worrying about them yet? LOL!!

Oh and by the way, the chest wrinkles are easier to hide :rotfl: but that site is brilliant!

I have silk pillow cases and love them. My hair doesn't get as tangled and fuzzy but I am not sure about the wrinkles though.

Come on ladies????????????????? Wrinkles aren't caused my cotton, try years of sun damage...smiling....frowning...laughing...less collagen is produced in the skin as you age and it all starts to wrinkle.

Best thing you can do is wear an spf all year round on your face - but now you have wrinkles its just a prevention thing- and moisturise daily.

I have an old satin pillow that I use every night :) I always think that its less likely to absorb my night cream and hence should lessen the speed of wrinkle appearance :)

Just having a google and the "pure silk covers" seem to vary an awful lot in price dont they?

I have silk pillowcases, and I don't know yet if its doing anything for my wrinkles (I'm 4cough, lol!) but it is doing wonders for my hair! It no longer takes me 10mins and a considerable amount of pain each morning to brush out. I got mine from Patra, hth.
Good enough is good enough, and I am more than good enough!:j
