So called cheap GWT train tickets

I bought a cheap return London - Oxford train ticket for £10 from

I received a confirmation email with a booking reference, as you do. Then a few days later, the night before the journey, I tried to print the tickets but there seemed to be no record of them. So I called them on the way to Paddington the next morning AND checked with the ticket booth and again, none of my booking details were recognised.
So I had to buy a ticket for £23.50 instead. However, when I checked my bank statement a couple of days later, I realised I had been charged the £10 after all, by TheTrainLine.com. So I called them and still, they advised me the payment had not gone through. When I told them I was staring at my bank statement, which told me otherwise, I was put on hold. For 10 minutes. Only then did I check the website to see that I was being charged 10p per minute for the call, so hung up.
So I have now basically spent over £40 for what should have been a cheap ticket for a tenner - which was the reason I went.
I have written a complaint email but just thought I should mention it in case anyone else is or has experienced something similiar.
