I don't know whether you've ever considered a job as a comedian, if not maybe you should,:rotfl:
You can't block a seller, however you could block yourself from buying.
If you ever decide to buy from this seller, get a loved one, neighbour, paper boy or passer by, to smack you left & right across your face with a wet kipper.
This must be done, left & then right, at least 10 times per side.
It could take several attempts to get the desired effect, eventually this type of aversion therapy is said to work.
However if it doesn't & you have run out of wet kippers, you could close your ebay account.0 -
Thats what i'm trying to do but i will forget after a few months who i bought from.sarahg1969 wrote: »Just don't buy from him again?0 -
I wish you could block sellers on ebay both via a blocked list like buyers and via more general rules.
I want to see their items disappear from all my search results.
I just get really fed up with ebay on seeing the same spam results again and again in searches.
It is also annoying having taken the time to decide I do not want to buy from a seller there is no way to save this.
EDIT: How to block sellers on ebay is a popular google search and threw up the following:

EDIT: A number of buyers seem to keep a list next to their computers of sellers they refuse to deal with.
EDIT: You can also use the customise view feature to show the seller id and feedback score in search listings.
EDIT: I assume it must be possible to find a browser add-in that flashed up a warning if the seller id appeared in the browser window.0 -

For example you could try the Keywords Highlighter extension in chrome. It will high light words on screen from a list. Just add the blocked sellers and then any blocked seller names will appear highlighted. However you really only want it active on ebay not all web pages and this option is not currently included. Still better than a wet kipper I suppose.
EDIT: I gave it a test on ebay and it seems to work great.

What is really needed is a keyword notes extension that will allow you to add keywords notes to web sites. Whenever a page from site contains a keyword it will highlight it and allow you to read your notes associated with it. Great for ebay sellers and many other uses also. Does such an extension exist?0
