Yes, our house is priced fairly, all other similar properties are 20-30000 higher than ours. We have already lowered the price twice and know how much our prospective buyer accepted. Round here the usual 'knock-down' would be about five grand.
You say the usual knock-down is about five grand yet you have already lowered the price twice.
What was your house originally priced at ?
And how long has it been on the market for ?0 -
My house is for sale at 159 and I would not accept any less than 155-
A 14 grand difference is a huge amount on a house of this price.
OP - be prepared for the vendor to laugh at you.

C'mon Martin there's no need stick your thumb on your nose and scream 'nah nah' to Danilou like a petulant child.
That's her opinion.
Some people are happy to chance their arm and put a higher asking price on to see if they get a biter and sit on the market for a while. Inevitably they end up reducing to a more realistic price but that's their choice. They know their limit.
We decided to put our house on for a realistic price. We've had loads of viewers, all of them putting in offers but unfortunately not sold their houses. Just one of those things. No point getting stressed about it all.0
