theloft...thanks for your post. The link is https://www.handtec.co.uk. They are a Peterborough based company. The Garmin Nuvi 310d (v9) is 189.99+VAT. I also ordered a Garmin Nuvi 3 in 1 Charge Sync Kit at 12.99+VAT as this model only comes bundled with a car charger (the Sync Kit enables you to charge at home). Overnight delivery was 6.99+VAT.....I needed to order before 2.30p.m for it to be 'overnight'. There is a cheaper delivery option. The order came on time (Citylink) but there was an error, they had sent me version 8 by mistake. After phoning them and explaining they immediately dispatched the correct model which arrived the next day. It seemed to be a genuine error. I've been using it ever since and its brilliant. I have a house in Romania and I drive there, I can't believe I got a satnav with maps all the way out there for such a small price. The best bonus is Garmin, who give a good impression whenever you phone up the technical support line with a daft question...0870 850 1242. Phone them with any queries you've got before buying...they treated me like a human being. Good luck and happy navigating!0

VardreRFC....You are quite right to point that out. I wanted to include the freephone number but couldn't find the bit of paper I wrote it on! I would also say that the first person I spoke to at Garmin gave me the freephone number to use for any future queries without me asking for it...not bad by todays standards. I've never got round to looking at the sayno site but I will next time I've got an 0870 or the like to ring..ta0

Just to throw another option in....
you could always purchase a Phone/PDA like a SPV M600 and then purchase the TomTom software - then you get your SatNav and phone in one device.
The PDA comes with WiFi and Bluetooth, you would need to buy the GPS receiver (~£40).

I am using a PDA wth Tomtom 5, and the speed camera database from pocketgpsworld, and find it very good. Simple to use and "does exactly what it says on the tin" type thing.
Just a comment on the speed camera database from pocketpgsworld.
There is free software on the site, which can be loaded onto your sat nav system, to allow you to collect locations of speed camera's. This can then be uploaded onto the website. If you have spotted a new location you get a free subscription to the camera database, which as far as I understand, they are now trying to update every 2-3 weeks.Looking to raise some money0
