Did a post earlier, but the internet crashed as I pressed submit, so it disappeared

Well, a better day today. After a slow start DD1 has cleared her room :j And she has a bed!! Yay! :j We went to collect the sofa bed that i got on ebay that we couldn't get yesterday. I am glad we did it today, 'cos the traffic would have been horrendous on a Friday evening (M25 & M11). And we managed to get it in the car, with the doors shut :D We got it out of the car & upstairs before the heavens opened - must be our lucky day :j

DW done, 1 load of washing dried on the line & folded ready to go upstairs, 6 sacks of clothes taken to CS (fling!), DH has cut down the elder tree in the alleyway in readiness for our summerhouse/shed being delivered in the next week or so, shower scrubbed and downstairs vac'd. Waiting for the rain to stop so I can put the seats back in the car (I was going to clean it out first 'cos it is gross!)

DH cooking dinner :) I need to go and leave some positive feedback on ebay now.

Pigpen - I hope you are having a better day today :)

LW - I hope you are feeling better now you have eaten

Hugs and spoon to anyone else that needs them :D

    Tesco bought..

What, all of it? [thinks logically - 11 people, of course it was all of it :)]

My freezers are now rammed.. there was LOADS of reduced mince and steak again so I scooped it all up :D

Not fair! I need a big freezer - well, one bigger than the tabletop size one I currently have sitting on top of the fridge and underneath the microwave. But I lurve my Bosch easy access fridge and I don't want to change it to a giant fridge freezer thingy.

[narrows eyes and looks for easily [STRIKE]intimidated[/STRIKE] persuaded man to modify the slightly-too-small-for-an-integrated-freezer cupboard, having already flung the rotten rotating recycling bin thingy that was put in there by the builders (as there was no way I was ever going to have manky food waste sitting inside the house when there is a perfectly good wheelie bin outside) and at present it is only collecting gibble]

Spoke on the phone to my mother. [waits for applause at the sacrifice]. Not sure what she said because her phone is rubbish - apparently it's everyone else's phone that's rubbish and nothing to do with her  but from what I could make out, Minion is sounding positively posh on the phone to her. I suppose that will have something to do with the relatively posh school she goes to, then. I didn't mention that all it means in practice is that she sounds the 'ing' at the end of every swear word she uses behind my back

Luckily, the bad phone line meant I avoided the usual nonsense of who said what to who and what she said to put them straight, how perfect my sister's kids and grandchildren are compared to me and my lot, blah, blah, blah.

Oh, and I'm not quite so smug now, Valli, as in my haste to rescue the washing, I left the back door open. So I have had to dry the door, mop the rain up off the kitchen floor and apologise to the cat whose dinner was under a quarter of an inch of rainwater. (Don't know why I bothered, he promptly bleurghed the replacement din-dins back up on the floor the other side of the kitchen.....)

Ah, well, at least the washing is dry and my conscience is clear for another day!

[rummages in fridge for that small bottle of rose]
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

Yes, we bought ALL of tesco!!!! including the very last box of creme eggs!!!!! lol

*gives round of applause to jojo for ringing mummy!!* I rang mine day before yesterday and was on the phone the best part of 2 hours!!!!!!!!!

I have 2 freezers and I really want a chest freezer for the shed..

Good... today has been less traumatic, thank you.. I had a very unsettled night again.. OH brought Squeak down at 3am for an hour as she just wouldn't stop screaming.. she did the biggest fart this morning.. so we think she may have just had tummy ache, she was much more settled and happy afterwards.. to go with her coughing and snotting and teething!!!! I am hoping she doesn't have the stomach disturbances I get when I eat certain things and have catalogued what she ate just in case!

I bought Squeak some new vests.. one of the packs appears to have had a 'wrong' vest in it which was 18-24 months and a completely different style! the worrying thing is it isn't that much too big and after washing and tumble drying it will fit perfectly I think!!!!! She is only 10 months!!!!!

I have stacks of mess in the front room I need to deal with tonight.. nappies, clothes, toys, shopping! and a parcel to ready for OH to send to a 'friend' (THAT female one.. ggggrrr) only sweets, but still... I am not best pleased! I did however ask him to pay for the bits for Squeaks birthday and I paid for the food shopping... :D .. he didn't complain at all, but I didn't expect him to.. I need to purchase birthday stuffs this week and fathers day stuffs too.... so I shall go browsing tonight.

Best kick the older 3 into bed... Tiddles was a pig today due to tiredness.. hopefully she will be better tomorrow! I shall also finish the sleeve for Squeaks cardy tonight if I can find some rubbish to watch on the goggler!

I am so useless *rolleyes* - I got used to going without meals when I was with the KH because we were often so desperately short of money, and it helped to save a few pence here and there; and even now, I can easily forget to eat. It's not something Mr LW would ever do (he lurves his food) so it wouldn't occur to him to check when I last ate.:o

Ah well, we have a "probable cause" now, which will be fixed shortly.;)

I hope you feel better soon, Molly

Really pleased you are feeling better. You are not useless my friend x Im missing my two little doggies tonight as Im away but its only for one night and supposed to be a treat;)
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

(the Christmas tree is so that others will spot that you are new and try to make you feel welcome and help you along with any problems - you dont need to add it to your posts!)

Egg'n'chips has been duly consumed, followed by strawberries, so hopefully that'll sort me out.:o

Oh, I forgot to mention, the scarves and shawls have now been gone through, sorted and folded neatly, so that'#s another Frog eaten, also!:D

Off to bash baddies in Dragon Age 2 now.

Lame Wolf, hey twinnie, I get funny like that if I don't eat too and I sometimes skip meals so not good. I try really hard to remember as not only does missing food make me feel odd it also really messes up my Warfarin levels. I'm sure you'll be fine again tomorrow.

There's a few names I don't know here so a big hi to the newbies!!

DH and I just watched Salt on DVD, I sat doing my knitting - finished a sleeve of my jacket so only got the other sleeve, collar and borders (whatever the post name is) to do. We had popcorn and I've done such a stupid thing - I've chipped off a bit of tooth on a hard bit of popcorn (we have popping corn you do in a popcorn maker). No pain as yet, but will have to go and get checked next week methinks so blimin expensive popcorn :(.

    hi all,

well been slowly dealing with frogs today, still haven't finished them, but its a work in progress. Can't find the needles i just bought any where for J's over suit (aka OH), so will have another search tomorrow.

Mucked up my diet today grrr, the train was so late today that i ended up grabbing a cheese pasty as the kids were starving and needed something to eat quick. But came and made a gorgeous carrot and lentil soup, which me and lads scrammed down.

As for general flying, did another load of washing in between rain. Sorted the kitchen out, yet again. the front rooms nice and clean :D.
So not bad this week, cleanest its been for a long time.

Right off to watch a film and do some knitting, as J has phoned today he's coming back tonight, so looks like i'm waiting up for him.
