HELP windows live messenger

I been having trouble with windows live messenger ; like not saving my log in details my pic profile keeps dissapearing and all sorts of things
I looked in the help forum on windows so done what they suggested have uninstalled .re installed they said maybe there was a bad registry so i used revo uninstaller now i cannot find the messenger i re downloaded it has vanished as when i click on the windows live messenger to open it wont open done system restore and it still wont work done a full scan to see if got any virus or trojons but nothing so dont know what to do now

What exactly says you have the update? Run through step by step what your doing
You have a downloaded exe file yes? Far as I recall its a silly microsoft one that loads then you select which programs you want (Windows live mail for example):idea:0 -
yes i clicked down load windows live then it comes up what you have down loaded and all the messenger /. mail/ securty/ and writer/ all have green tick to say ive all ready got then.
So i come out click on the messenger blue green people and it dont do nothing dont open and its not even on me bottom tool bar its just wont do anything , i have done this task before and its a simple thing to do but now i just dont know what is wrong0 -
Sounds to me like its because you used REVO

i carnt even uninstall the windows live essentual from add and remove prog it dont do nothing0

managed to sort it out in the end i uninstalled all if windows live throw ccleaner and reinstalled works fine now after taking me all day to sort it out ty any way0
