Thanks OP..my local store had dozens of the sunflower oil on the shelf. SEL was £1.58 but scanned at 28p. I only bought four as that's about 6 months supply for me, but the saving paid for a couple of bottles of £2.00 (was £3.96) olive oil too, with change. Excellent!

Managed to get a few of these but its bound to be fixed overnight.

    :D

i agree but then why have some stores not fixed the gardening glitch-i bet nikkilala's store will be going strong on the oil glitch too lol!!:rotfl:

i don't get whether glitch prices are changed fixed by individual stores or done nationally?

Well i decided to go out to the one on the outskirts.....

Absolutely none left...SEL showed the price with the discount so 1.58 save 28p.....

No gift wrap so decided to look for the olives..couldnt see any there either..

But got some of the hello kitty eggs...there was a full strip of them about 20 in total but i got 4 as it was really the sunflower oil i was after.

So anyway i braved it and went back to my local....
picked up one which was priced SEL 1.58 and the olive crespo pack and yay...

scanned at 28p for the oil and 22p for the olives.

so i had a basket and went and got as many as i could carry since my deep fryer takes 5 litres.

    Arms were aching...ten bottles later....

Went back with a trolley as there were about 100 of these on the shelf and lo and behold the shelf was empty!!

It is unlikely it would have been another buyer me thinks as there were a whole shelf full 5 hours earlier.....

    So empty trolley for me...

But happy with my ten bottles.....girl at checkout asked what i was making with them all....lol

I went to brent park and Brent Cross Tesco, looks like they knew about the glitch and had taken all the stock off the shelves. Also tried a smaller tesco but was £1.68.

Can you believe it, NO oil!!!!! To be honest I probably still have a years supply left over from DTD,But the garden glitch was still working at 3pm today, going back in the morning to see if they have restocked and if it still works. I don't need to get anything else but I seem to have acquired a habit of needing a "stash" all the time. I did manage to get 39 packets of the 1p gift wrap as well today:T.

The gift wrap is only stocked in the smaller express stores, I made the mistake of looking in the bigger T's first. It's actually easier to get because their seem to more of them about:)

Is anyone going to tesco at 12.01 to try the glitches?
