First joint bank account

Hi All,
My partner and I are looking to open our first ever joint bank account, but can't seem to find any information on the best provider to go with. I'll provide a little bit of background in the hopes that one of you might be able to help...
My partner is with HSBC and I have two accounts with Barclays, and although we aren't looking to get rid of these accounts we would like to have a shared account for whenever we go shopping, out for drinks, holidays, etc.
Looking through MSE, I notice that most of the bank account offers (e.g. £100 free for signing up) require a full primary account transfer which obviously wouldn't suit us.
In short we're looking for a joint account which offers online banking, a debit card for each of us, and preferably a perk for signing up. I know it might be a lot to ask for but if you don't ask you don't get!
Cheers,
Ben

there are many banks which are providing joint account facility like HSBC, barclays etc. But with your all requirements I don't think so there is any bank providing all this.0

You won't get any perks for signing up, but if you can credit £1000pm into the account, then the Halifax Rewards account will pay £5pm, and you'll both get debit cards, online banking etcDebt free and staying that way! :beer:0

you don't give any details of your relationship
but do remember once you have a joint bank a/c you will be linked financially so if one has (or obtains) a poor credit rating it will affect both parties
also remember that is often harder to close a joint a/c than open one in the unlikely event of the relationship failing0
