You do not say what you are using the concrete for as the mix type will affect the price. You are probably looking at in the region of £80-90 per cubic metre. You also need to be aware that some companies will charge for 'part loads' at up to £25 per cubic metre (i.e smaller mixer will usually carry 3 cubic metres so you would pay £50 part load on top of the £80-90) Also be aware of additional costs such as 'waiting time' (most places will give you 30mins before charging) or 'barrowing' which may apply if the access to where you want the concrete poured is difficult and the concrete needs to be moved to the pour site by wheelbarrow.

Best to ring round for a few quotes really (I used to work for Hanson premix and they were pretty expensive on small load cash sales)

Using it as a sub base for a patio, was going to use hardcore and use a wacker as half of the area that i am going to cover is already concrete base therefore wanted to raise it to all the same level before laying the slabs of natural stone

In that case you can go for a basic mix as you are not going to be concerned with weather cracking or issues with heavy loads such as on a driveway. A basic GEN1 mix would probably cost you in the region of £70-75 per cubic metre and for those measurements you come in at 0.9 cubic metres.

Yes, can someone please put some names or links up.
I just got a best price of £321 for 2.5 cu metres.

If you can get that for £175 anywhere I'll be interested.
I couldn't even buy the sand, cement, and aggregate in bulk for that much, let have it pre-mixed.
