Makro Trade Card

To Join Makro under Self employed I have to photocopy the following:
* Copy of Inland Revenue Registration form.
* Two recent purchase invoices over the value of £50 each.
* Personal Identificaton of the cardholder.
I can do the IR form and ID but what is, in plain English, a 'purchase invoices'?
I dont buy anything big (just paper, ink, photos, pens, stamps etc) for my business and even then only when I need it so it only comes around £10 a time.
Thanks

purchase invoices are from your suppliers; i.e. what business supplies you have bought either for your trade or to sell on. personally, I think makro are a waste of time for anything other than catering supplies, once you have paid the vat, they are dearer than wilkos or aldi. jtf is a far better wholesaler, as is costco, and there is ebay for all your paper, ink, etc. if you only want makro for your own goods, e.g. electricals etc they are expensive once you factor in the vat, it's ok if you are vat registered though."There is a light that never goes out"0
