Help cant do the recovery back up disc ! acer 5553

Hi,
Just got a Acer Aspire 5553 laptop ..been trying to do the ...acereRecovery managment recovery disc's ...the 3 you do to back up system ..
I at first used Tesco DVD-R one's, the first two went of fine then doing the third one it came up error 0x9411 and try again with new disc...4 later the same :eek: !

went out today and got TDK DVD-R ones and it would not even do the first one ..but this time showing error 0x207 tryed a few times with same error

tried again with the tesco's ones and not one would work ...
any ideas please ! Thank you

Try burning at the lowest speed possible to reduce the risk of errors. At worst, complain to Acer (use https://www.saynoto0870.com to find a free/cheaper number) and they might send you the recovery disks.

at last it's done !
used the same TDK DVD-R disc's it really hated !....just kept putting a new one in , when it rejected the one in it...and 1 in 3... it liked ....now all 3 disc's are done ! at last ! ( also i wiped each disc with soft dry cloth )
