My dad has kindly given me a laptop for my son, which he no longer needs.
Its a very old Fujitsu Amilo D7820, it has windows xp installed don't know if thats relevant, but it obviously, because of it's age isn't wireless.
Can I buy a wireless card to suit this? How will I know which one to get or does it not matter?
Sorry to seem a bit "thick" but i'm not in anyway a computer or tech whiz,
Any info would be fab
Thanks

Looking at the specs, this machine has USB2 sockets, so a standard USB wireless dongle would do the trick. About £5 on Ebay or try here:-

Something like this

Basically, any Cardbus card or USB wireless dongle should do it0 -
Thank You for the quick replys and links, never thought it would take a wireless dongle!0

I recommend the PCMCIA card over the USB solution. It also keeps the USB slot free for other uses, such as USB flash drives.
Linksys WPC100-EU RangePlus £8
Belkin Wireless G Plus Notebook Card £70
