Thanks for a normal reply! i specifically told the money shop that it is not my card and they spoke to my husband to authorise the payment, they also told me that they would not keep his card details on their system, as they are not allowed to retain the cvv number, i stupidly accepted that as truth, i am making a complaint but just wondered if i had any stance legally?
Thanks,

I believe companies such as the money shop would use a recurring payment authority so the CVV would not be required to claim the payments. I would recommend if you think the company has done any wrong doing to make a complaint if you have no joy take it up with the FOS.Im an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -
Thank you to all the people who have responded without giving me a "you deserve wat you get". I decided to post on this forum to get help and maybe understand how these things work, however all i seem to have gotten (apart from the kind posters who actually offered some help!) is abuse because i declared myself bankrupt, for those of you who obviously have no idea in what that means, its not a decision taken lightly and it certainly is not a cowards way out of debt, i agree that i got myself into this position and i agree that i should pay back what i owed - however circumstances beyond my control (death and illness) meant that i was unable to pay back what i owed, after a lot of deliberation i came to the conclusion that declaring myself bankrupt was my only option, i had these loans 2-3 years before going bankrupt so for your information i didnt rack up payday loans just prior to going bankrupt. I also didnt expect my debt to disappear as i will be paying into an IPA for the next 3 years, so for those who think i have been let off lightly maybe you should read up and get your fact rights before judgin and condemning me for going bankrupt.
stclair, Browntoa, paddyrg, Emmzi, Kazipoo, cos and cifpower thank you for your comments and i will take them on board, as for the rest of you - maybe you should rethink posting when somebody asks for help coz i can honestly tell you - you were not in the slightest bit helpful and i could do without your comments.

My question was posted as I am genuinely interested in the reply.
We see many many posts about people defaulting on Payday loans but as the name suggests, they are only designed to be taken and repaid within a calendar month. We do see many who have been stuck for several months but I don't recall anyone being stuck for 2-3 years before!!
On an open forum you are bound to get a mixture of responses especially from those who have sacrificed so much to dig themselves out and have to read things like thisicecream69 wrote: »What a relief to be able to say to creditors im bankrupt so go jump!!!!0 -
You can kiss that cash goodbye.

This is just one of the repercussions of your own actions.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
One point that is been missed, was the payday loan taken prior to the bankrupcy? If so the op or even ops partner would not be liable for the payment as it would of been included within the order. I would speak to your ORDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Out of interest, what was the Receivers opinion of you taking out multiple Payday Loans just prior to declaring yourself bankrupt??
I would have thought they would have placed restrictions on you holding you for much longer before discharging.
Not like you Apples2 your advice is normaly good but you jumped the gun on this oneIf you dont like me remember its mind over matter, I dont mind and you dont matter0 -

Apples2 picked up on this in message #10:Out of interest, what was the Receivers opinion of you taking out multiple Payday Loans just prior to declaring yourself bankrupt??icecream69's response (in message #16) appears to be that she took out the payday loans two to three years ago:
