New Biz - Can anyone help? Catering Trailer
Comments
-
thats a good idea.........:rotfl::rotfl::cool: Hi Everyone :j
I need some help, I have done some research but it seems I still need more info.
My business idea is a catering van, I have applied to sit at a location near a very busy college, however I am awaiting confirmation.
I don't have a trailer/van yet, but I want to know what I must look for and what I should be careful of?
Can anyone help me and any further info. . .
they will be closed soon for the summer, anyway you could sit outside the trailer and get a nice tan

not many catering van operators survive with only 1 fixed location van.
i trade at several summer fairs/county shows and know several catering van operators. i know one who has only being trading 2 yrs and he has 3 plain white trailers based in industrial estates and he has 2 cafe4U branded trailers that he uses for shows and he found out at shows people are attracted to nicely branded and clean vans rather than plain white vans. he sells fairtrade coffee and teas along with soft drinks and naturally the coffee is cafe4u branded but he sells this as the same price as other vans. so their is no price differences if you have a branded van or plain van0 -

Markets and shows people will head for the branded van as your plain white burger vans don't always have the nicest of reputations at events, markets etc. At a fixed location I can't see it would make that much difference if you don't have a row of catering vans all parked next to each otherEveryones opinion is the most important.....no wonder nothing is ever agreed on.0 -

even a single van looks better branded even with your own company logo rather than a plain white van with precut vinyl lettering as it shows you have taken the time and effort in presentation0
