Help......
We have a Windows 7 64bit system with Full Norton protection. Its scanned all the time etc, but I am having a problem I think might be Spyware ?
Since I have owned this PC (Fujitisu Amilio Jan 2010) it makes strange sounds like doors closing (creeking), doors opening and slamming and a strange bark from time to time. The sounds are made when the system is both idol and when other programmes are in use. It even plays the noises over Itunes (although I have never noticed it over web based programmes like BBC Iplayer or you tube)
I have been through the control panel settings and have not found anything that is "on" that I can turn to "off".
I did a webserch of the problem and only found one minor post on the Cnet forum that suggested it was Spyware, but with Norton 360 I doubt this !
Advice Pls people !
thanks

always doubt the ability of ANY security suite to protect you 100% as none of them will. As suggested, post a hjt log to see what's going on
......Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple

especially when that program is norton! You got to get through what you've got to go through to get what you want but you got to know what you want to get through what you got to go through.0
