Tesco Value Range - Good/Bad

I too use the 36p wipes for anything around the house, the cats paws, the window ledge where he jumps in and out and of course the obvious use - to clean ink of my stamps and clear glitter off the desk. Perfect AND they're not too wet (boots ones are too wet and so are huggies).
value veg is all good - no idea why you'd buy anything else

yeah i was amazed that they had such a price hike, :eek:but still they are alot cheaper than the leading brands and basically do the same job. I too use them for other cleaning jobs around the house.Baby wipes were 18p a pack have just gone up to 36p a pack, they are unfragranced. I have used them for about a month with no problems on my childrens skin. They are slightly wetter than normal ipes so sometimes need to dry babys bum with tissue before putting nappy back on.
I now use them for cleaning and all sorts. Was alwas taken aback at extortionate price of wipes, particularly when the kids got hold of the pack and emptied them!!!life is what you make it, make it fun !0 -
Good
Pasta Sauce - brilliant as an ingrediant for all sorts of things, and not bad as a normal pasta sauce either!
Tinned sweetcorn
Tinned tomatoes
Tinned new potatoes - some people don't like these but I think they are brilliant in a salad or chopped into an omelette with veg
Swiss Roll
Fresh fruit and veg - although it varies on quality and what is available. Recently bought a big net of "citrus fruits" for £1.30 that lasted two fruit hungry adults about 5 days. They were the same fruit as the Disney kids easy-peelers!
Pitta Breads
Bad
Loo roll - falls apart far too easily!
Wraps
Chocolate

the value washing powder made us all itch like mad. The value fabric conditoner is false economy cos i have to use twice as much to get the clothes soft, especially towels. Apart from that, i buy pretty much all the value range (apart from the mince, which swims in grease and is vile):beer:life is what you make it, make it fun !0

Didn't get on at all well with the value facial wipes. They do their own versions which start at 52p or something and are much better! (and possibly the cheapest out there!) Or the more expensive sensitive/cucumber wipes at 73p.
The value range wipe just had this really odd man-made-nylon type feel to it and caught on any dry skin I had on my finger tips- even though I didn't know I had any! I also did not find they removed anything other then a little of the surface layer of makeup. A further wipe with a proper make up remover showed this to be the case.
Also stung my face a little, nothing reddening and I do have fickle skin but if you have sensitive skin this may not be the product to try! (Stick to the sensitive wipes at 73p
