I don't like the pasta too much - it's also worth noting that the "trattoria verde" spaghetti, works out cheaper, at 1kg for 56p, when tesco's value is 40p for 500g.

Baby wipes were 18p a pack have just gone up to 36p a pack, they are unfragranced. I have used them for about a month with no problems on my childrens skin. They are slightly wetter than normal ipes so sometimes need to dry babys bum with tissue before putting nappy back on.

I now use them for cleaning and all sorts. Was alwas taken aback at extortionate price of wipes, particularly when the kids got hold of the pack and emptied them!!!

The Rice Snaps were unfit for human consumption. I complained and they offered me a refund (?) which wasn't really the point I was making!

Value wet wipes are good, I purchased 52 packets a few months ago so it would last me well over a year and then the price doubled not long after that so I am glad I did.

    Value frozen peas are lovely

value pasta sauce is actually not bad,

  • those rice snaps are disgusting could have vomited after trying them also the salted peanuts we're so greasy like they had been covered in lard prior to packing
I'll Complain, Complain Again and keep complaining until I get what I want. I will never let you win, I AM ALWAYS RIGHT and you are always wrong because I have the KNOWLEDGE
  • I like

    value peanut butter
    flour
    orange juice
    apple juice
    breakfast juice
    tinned tomatoes
    chocolate digestive biscuits
peanuts although I mostly only use them for baking
    porridge oats
    tinned spaghetti
    lasagna sheets
    wholemeal bread
the thin bleach does a better job of bleaching my kitchen sink than the more expensive thick bleach
    pears
    carrots
    onions
    peppers
    tomatoes including the cherry ones
    golden syrup
    frozen peas
    frozen sweetcorn
and to my surprise the value hair conditioner leaves my hair in better condition than a lot of the more expensive brands I have tried. For anyone who has the unenviable task of nit combing a childs hair it is very good. It is quite thin and runny and coats the hair quite well and is fairly pale in colour. That is why I originally bought it and was just using up the left overs on my own hair and found it so good I bought some more.

    Value bacon reasonable (Morrisons better)

Tin toms, uht skimmed milk, tuna, porridge oats, fruit n veg. Ok

My current Mr. T. doesn't stock: value toms, mush, pears, onions, carrots, small packs of bacon which is annoying. (but have 3x£6 store specific vouchers)
  • The Value Tortilla Chips are excellent, not as big as Doritos but at 25p per 100g instead of 79p for Doritos they're fab!
We use them for a meal of nachos. Big plate of tortilla chips, jar of chilli sauce, maybe some re-fried beans and plenty of cheese on the top. Only takes 10-15 mins in the oven, delicious and quick.

As someone has previously posted, the value baby wipes are also pretty good. They're a bit small for me when it comes to baby bottom wiping but i use them for cleaning around the house as well as dirty hands and whatever else you need a baby wipe for!
