Odd Q About Asda

Hi
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, not sure where it should go
I wanted to ask, if an under 18 could go to collect an instore order (its not an age restricted item) from Asda, only asking because a friend told me they would refuse an under 18 plus she wouldn't have I.D to prove she's the person named on the order.....
Also does anyone know how it would be packaged, i.e would it be in a delivery bag so you can;t see the contents. Its a top for my DD and she's the only available person to collect it and its a gift for her..
I might sound like i'm fretting but there;s no one else I can ask to get it at the mo. Hoping someone here has had someone else under 18 collect their order from instore
Thanks
Shanelle

When I collect instore orders, they always get it out of the delivery bag to check it is what it's meant to be. I have asked them not to bother in the past as I've been in a rush, and they say they have to do it to check. So it's likely she'll be able to see what it is if she collects it for you.
Also, you have to produce the card that was used to pay for the order (well I always have to), so not sure she'd be able to get it for you based on that. Not sure on the under 18 bit though.0 -
Have to tried ringing the store to ask? I know home shopping wouldn't deliver if the person accepting delivery was under 18, but not sure 'asda direct' is the same. The item will come delivered to the store in a thick plastic bag (not see through at all)0
