Sulphate of iron is cheap and easily available in any garden centre
(often sold as a soil acidifier).

Whatever you use, the results will only be temporary if you don't sort out the reason the moss is there in the first place - usually bad drainage, too much shade etc.0

use a fork and make holes to improve the drainage in your lawn. also often complete lawn food have moss killers and weed killers in them you need to reapply every six weeks water after applying and your lawn will go yellow where the moss is and look bad until the new growth comes through. rake out any moss that has died off. about the shady areas there are shady lawn seed of the market.:kisses3: Married 29th September 2012
