Beware EHIC scam

Not only is it embarrassing, I signed up for the whole family four cards £23.50 each. They have all our details and I should have read the text but I thought I knew exactly what I was doing as I had done research, I just needed to do that final thing, apply. The form was identical to the NHS one so I did not notice I was somewhere else. I had researched everything ahead of time. Stupid me!
Anyway I noticed while researching my mistake that the company Europe EHIC Services has sent a newsletter to University Students on November 24th 2014, luring them in giving them a lot of correct info earning their trust, and then giving them the option to sign up for a card through them. Please warn any student you know that you do NOT need to pay for this service, it is free of charge with the NHS!

Mine was from europeanhealthcard.org.uk

They do say on there web site they are not affiliated with nhsbsa except organization should be in caps like this. NHS Business Services Authority in full

Funny they get it all fully in caps all the legal sections no problem in there reply

Basically all they say is

Your application for EHIC has already been processed. This cannot be undone. As this is the case we are unable to issue a refund.

Strange my existing cards are still valid and I certainly can't process them directly
